Summer carries a different quality of energy. It is expansive, warm, expressive: a time where nature moves into fullness and visibility. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season is connected to the Fire element, and to the Heart as its central organ system.
This afternoon is an invitation to return to balance through the intelligence of both body and season.
Together with Yoga Instructor Vanessa and me, you are invited into a carefully held space in the heart of Zürich, where movement, stillness and reflection come together.
We begin with a 45-minute yoga practice guided by Vanessa. The focus is on opening the chest, softening internal tension, and allowing the body to arrive more fully in the present moment.
After a short pause with light refreshments, I'll will offer an introduction to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on seasonal rhythms and the relationship between body, mind and nature.
The experience continues with a guided acupuncture meditation.
You will also be introduced to two simple acupressure points that can be easily integrated into daily life to support calm, clarity, and emotional grounding throughout the summer months.
We close the afternoon with a grounding circle, a calming soundscape, nourishing seasonal treats and a thoughtfully curated goodie bag to take home, offering a small extension of the experience beyond the event itself.
This is a space for slowing down, reconnecting and listening more closely to what is already present within you.
